Student
Confirmation At Mass Next Sunday Next Sunday, April 20th,
the 5:00 P.M. Mass will be a special liturgy for our high school
Confirmation students and their families. Sixty-two
of our high school students will
receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during this Mass.
Please keep our students and their families in your prayers. PLANNED GIVING NOTESLife
Insurance Gifts
It
is easy to turn an old life insurance policy into a nice gift to St. Victor’s
Parish, and a possible tax deduction. Simply transfer it to, “The Roman
Catholic Bishop, a California Corporate Sole, for the benefit of St. Victor’s
Parish.” It is even easier to add the parish as a beneficiary to a policy.
Because you can always change this, there is no tax deduction for
including the Church as a beneficiary. If you want to know more about this, the Diocese can provide free assistance. Call the Development Office @ 983-0246, or write to them at: 900 Lafayette St., Suite 301, Santa Clara, CA 95050. REQUESTS
FOR PARISH FACILITIES
Requests from our parish organizations for the use of the parish facilities for the 2008-09 year are due in the parish office by 9:00 A.M. on Friday, April 25th. Please use the yellow forms, which may be picked up at the parish office. All forms received after May 18th will have to select from the remaining open dates. Happy
Birthday to
Sister Noreen Driscoll, CSJ, this Sunday, April 13th! VACATION
BIBLE SCHOOL HELP NEEDED! Power Lab Vacation Bible
School, during the week of July 21st-25th, (kindergarten
through 6th grade) will give our children a new enthusiasm for
God’s Word – and for Jesus! We
will engage the children with fun, and science-minded surprises; they’ll see
amazing things happen. They’ll see that Jesus gives them the power to be
thankful; help others; be brave; live forever; and tell others about God.
