SECOND COLLECTION TODAY FOR ST. VICTOR’S DEVELOPMENT FUNDToday’s second collection is for St. Victor’s Development Fund. This fund assists with the never-ending repairs and projects on the parish grounds. Thank you for your support. You Are Invited...
to the Golden Jubilee (Retirement) Celebration of Father Stephen Perata on Sunday, June 15th, at the 12:15 P.M. Mass. A reception will follow in the hall and on the parish grounds. Everyone is invited to wear cultural attire. If you are able to help in any way, please call Alice Trigg @ 928-1630. {Please see today’s bulletin insert.} OUR
CHILDREN MODEL YOU…
The
children who have just received their First Holy Communion look to you and
follow what you do before and after receiving the Eucharist.
They know this is a special and wonderful time and that folding their
hands near their heart is a way of showing how special this sacrament is to
them. Because it is so new,
sometimes they forget what they are supposed to do and they look to others
around them to see what they are doing. Help
us model a respectful and reverent posture when receiving Communion, showing the
children that we are aware of the awesome love God has shown in giving His Son
to us through the Eucharist. Power Lab Vacation Bible School, during the week of July 21st-25th, (kindergarten through 6th grade) will give our children a new enthusiasm for God’s Word – and for Jesus! We will engage the children with fun, and science-minded surprises; they’ll see amazing things happen. They’ll see that Jesus gives them the power to be thankful; help others; be brave; live forever; and tell others about God. For more information, or to help, contact the Catechetical Ministry Office @ 251-0154. [Registration will be held in the vestibule after all Masses next weekend.] SCRIPTURE
