Feast of the Most Holy Trinity - June 6-7, 2009
We
have peace with GOD through our Lord, JESUS CHRIST.
God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the HOLY SPIRIT,
which has been given to us. (Romans
5:1,5) Today the Church honors the
Supreme Majesty of One God in Three Divine Persons.
Our intellect is too limited to comprehend the inner essence and life of
the Infinite God. Our contemplation
of this mystery is an occasion for humble adoration and a petition for an
increase of faith. Each time we make
the Sign of the Cross, we affirm our belief in this mystery of our faith.
How privileged we are to be invited into this love of God the Father, God
the Son and God the Holy Spirit for us. SECOND

Forget Dad!

It is easy to turn an old life insurance policy into a nice gift to St. Victor’s Parish, and a possible tax deduction. Simply transfer it to, “The Roman Catholic Bishop, a California Corporate Sole, for the benefit of St. Victor’s Parish.” It is even easier to add the Parish as a beneficiary to a policy. Because you can always change this, there is no tax deduction for including the Church as a beneficiary. If you want to know more about this the Diocese can provide free assistance. Call Robert Serventi @ 983-0168 or write to him at: Diocese of San Jose, The Chancery, 1150 N. First St., Suite 100, San Jose, CA 95112-4966. CATECHETICAL MINISTRY HELP NEEDED
