On this feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we begin National Vocation Awareness Week. Renew your Baptismal commitment as you consider your call to serve God in your particular vocation. Hopefully some of you will hear a call to the priesthood, diaconate or religious life and will be open to that possibility. If you would like assistance or more information, please visit the Diocesan Vocation website @ [email protected]. PRAYER
FOR VOCATIONS: Loving
God, You call us through our baptism in the Spirit to continue the
mission of Your beloved Son, Jesus.
Open us to listen attentively for Your invitation.
Empower us to respond to Your call.
Inspire women and men to follow the path of service.
Together may we build up the Church to be a vibrant sign of
Your presence in our world.
We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son, Jesus, through
the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen. STATEMENTS AND 2010 ADA PLEDGE INFORMATION
St. Victor’s recently changed our software to ParishSoft. When the information was merged with our Parish Data Systems information, it did not merge well. We are asking that you please go over your contribution statements and ADA mailing when you receive it – make sure the names, addresses and other information are completely correct. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. Those families who use the parish envelope system will soon
be receiving statements of contribution(s) for determining the amounts
given by each family in Regular, Special and Development fund
collections. These
statements are done out of courtesy for you and are very useful in
preparing your income tax returns.
We thank you for your continued support ant generosity. PLEASE NOTE: Catholic Foundation and ADA
contribution statements will be mailed to you directly from those
Diocesan Offices. SCRIPTURE READINGSJANUARY 16-17, 2010 ISAIAH 62:1-5 1 CORINTHIANS 12:4-11 JOHN 2:1-11 PLANNED GIVING NOTESYour
