Insurance Gifts It
is easy to turn an old life insurance policy into a nice gift to St.
Victor’s Parish, and a possible tax deduction.
Simply transfer it to, “The Roman Catholic Bishop, a
California Corporate Sole, for the benefit of St. Victor’s
Parish.” It is even
easier to add the parish as a beneficiary to a policy.
Because you can always change this, there is no tax deduction
for including the Church as a beneficiary. If
you want to know more about this, the Diocese can provide free
assistance. Call Robert
Serventi @ 983-0168, or write to him at: Diocese of San Jose, The
Chancery, 1150 N. First St., Suite 100, San Jose, CA 95112-4966. St.

Although we live in uncertain times, many graces are also flowing. We appear to be surrounded by critical events that impact many families. The heavenly weapons to prevent disasters, wars and degeneration are the Eucharist and the Rosary. Suggestions – pray the Rosary daily, recite the Divine Mercy Chaplet, attend daily Mass and/ or a Holy Hour, fast (from food, TV, shopping), or hold a Prayer Service or Rosary at your home with a group. Join St. Victor’s Legion of Mary for a ROSARY, in conjunction with America Needs Fatima, on Saturday, October 10th, at 12:00 noon at 2803 Glauser Dr. Please watch for the flyer in next week’s Sunday Bulletin.
