Your Will or the States?

If you don’t have a will or living trust, the State has one for you!  The State will tell you where your savings, home and possessions (your estate) will go.  If you do have a will or trust, you direct where you estate will go.

If you want to know more about this, the Diocese can provide free assistance.  Call Robert Serventi @ 983-0168, or write to him at: Diocese of San Jose, The Chancery, 1150 N. First St., Suite 100, San Jose, CA 95112-4966.

For those who wish to make a donation to assist the recent earthquake victims in Haiti, please make checks payable to: Catholic Relief Services and write Haiti in the Memo area on the check.  Donations may be placed in the collection basket or taken to the Parish Office.  Please keep the people of Haiti and their friends and families in your prayers.

2009 CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS AND ADA/CATHOLIC FOUNDATION INFORMATION

St. Victor’s recently changed our software to ParishSoft.  When the information was merged with our Parish Data Systems information, it did not merge well.  We are asking that you please go over your contribution statements and ADA mailing when you receive it – make sure the names, addresses and other information are completely correct.  We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

Those families who use the parish envelope system will soon be receiving statements of contribution(s) for determining the amounts given by each family in Regular, Special and Development fund collections.  These statements are done out of courtesy for you and are very useful in preparing your income tax returns.  We thank you for your continued support ant generosity.

PLEASE NOTE: Catholic Foundation and ADA contribution statements will be mailed to you directly from those Diocesan Offices.
